New school complex in Prague. A mini city where the little ones will learn to make their own decisions

A building that allows for great interaction between students, while giving the youngest students a sense of belonging to the public space.

The building is organised on two floors based on autonomous ‘micro-buildings’ that can be assigned intuitively and spatially differentiated uses under a clearly recognisable shape. Between them there is a fluid space with relaxation and social areas, sports areas, lockers, etc., in a highly continuous solution. This common space acts as a Public Square for all kinds of events.

A building that, thanks to its open nature during extra-school hours, can also become a space for meeting and strengthening the community, welcoming the different neighbours of Dolní Měcholupy.
