Nuevo colegio de Educación Primaria, una nueva idea de complejo educacional para educar entre los árboles

The urban layout of the building aims to create a roof that doubles and elevates the open space of the park while largely preserving the magnificent existing trees. The building's needs programme is developed under a single floor, which allows easy access to the roof-landscape, minimising the visual impact of the built volume on the environment.

The development of the building is generated from a very precise geometric base that allows for the intimate relationship between the pedagogical functions, rest and outdoor green spaces. These relationships configure a new landscape full of surprising interactions and atmospheres in which to learn and live in contact with nature.

Each pedagogical group has a gradient of privacy, thermal and climatic protection from the classrooms to the outdoor garden, passing through the open common space that can be used for any purpose and for its extension as a protected terrace.
