Ephemeral Pavilion - A message in the form of an architectural intervention - Concéntrico 09
Don't you really realize? There are fewer and fewer domino pieces left to fall to the point of no return of the climate crisis in which we are immersed.
Despite the efforts to raise global awareness, as well as the implementation of more or less effective measures carried out over the years by the different governments, there is no doubt that climate change is a very serious problem that exalts some, seeing its effects from a distance, others try to contain/sustain it and a large majority waits "unconsciously" for it to come upon them.
The point is that, look wherever you look at it, whatever your involvement in the fight for the environment, the problem exists. It is time for us all to act together and demand that the necessary measures be taken to urgently stop the collapse that we are close to experiencing.
A serious problem that also has its effect on the wine sector. However, we should not take for granted the resources and landscapes we are used to. Crops are sensitive to the long and consecutive heat waves that our country suffers, as well as to the general rise in temperatures or heavy torrential rains, among other clearly perceptible effects of climate change, resulting in a progressive modification of the wine landscape and its production.
The consequences of global warming also affect the ripening process of grapes, making their cultivation difficult and even altering the original flavour of the wines. Therefore, a territorial identity is seriously put at risk.
