New homes in a multi-family building after the change of use of commercial premises on the ground floor

The project consists of the renovation of a series of unfinished commercial premises on the ground floor of a block of flats to change their use to housing.

The aim is to maximise the use of the usable surface area in combination with a distribution of rooms that generates large spaces with the least possible loss of area in distributors. It is also a matter of ensuring that all the homes have the best lighting, ventilation and privacy conditions.

The living room and kitchen of each of the homes, which are physically and visually connected, are presented as the main space of the home, with a set of plans, built-in furniture and materials that generate a welcoming space with great flexibility. A space that, thanks to a marked geometric order and clean lines, seems to multiply.
